Use everything you have to share what you learn!

The more we share about what we learn, the more honest we live.  Art is the vehicle for expressing good intentions.  Whether your medium be paint, food, banjo, or mixed, we all have something unique to share that no one else can bring to the table.  By practicing this idea through multiple disciplines: challenging sometimes, familiar often; it is my hope to inspire others to share their knowledge, too!

In a world full of STUFF, being a maker raises a question regarding the superfluous nature of art objects.   Incorporating recycled material in my work, I unite my ideas through the underlying concept that art is the outlet to use everything you have to share anything you want!  The more we share, the more honest we live, yins!  Be happy in the process of making, and never hesitate to share with others every step along the way.

I have lived in North Carolina my whole life.  After graduating from Appalachian State University in Boone, I knew I wanted to stick around NC for a while and get to workin'!  A familiar southern culture, close proximity to the folks I love the most, and an active art and music scene made for easy nestling in the silvan splendor of Asheville.  Living and working here have helped surface ideas about myself and my art while continuing to inspire a motivation and purpose in this journey.
